Sat went to Nanyang Girls High again for another Networking Session
Being the Camera Man was quite fun after all
And the session is very motivating and definitely enjoyed my time there
As always, when there's event
There's always food around !

Morning Tea Break
Everything ended around 12pm

As for monday, we had another Appreciation Lunch for all the department involved
With the Clean & Green Singapore 2007
And the 2 new interns that joined on Monday were so lucky
First day already got free meals =D
Afterall, the foods were slightly better than the 1 during Lo Hei Lunch

Yesterday was sort of having some spare time
So I helped 1 of my colleague to do some mailing stuff
And it took me 1 1/2 hours to only complete half of them >.<
And I returned the other half as I got a task to finish

Today, work was still light and relaxing
And got my results

Sem GPA is 2.938
Cum GPA is 3.07
Dropped abit but final year, I gonna aim for 3.5 !!!





So, I guess the journey with Pastamania ends here
Today is my last day with Pastamania
I know 4 months is not long
But these 4 months I've ENJOYED every single day working with them
The people there are very nice, great sense of humor and good bonding
The cooks, even tho they're in their 30s or whatever
They still have good sense of humor
Even when the pressure is on, they still can make it like there's nth happening
Jokes and laughters that I won't forget
Ah Goh, the most happening person =D
Ah Ting and Ah Kun spent alot of time to teach me
Ah Soon, younger than my by 1 year and we get along well too =D
Siew Hui and Collin are the Head Chef, didn't really work with them much
But they ain't that bad
Lastly, Wai Kat is the person always jokes with Ah Goh
And that 2 can go non-stop =D
After all, every1 took good care of me and taught me many stuff
I really appreciate it and Thanks !
Not forgetting the managers and service crews
They are also a group of interesting friends
Simply just can't forget them
It's been a GREAT and WONDERFUL 4 months with everyone
And saying Goodbye isn't easy for me
I felt a great bond with everyone
But hey, whenever I have time, I'll definitely go down to Pastamania =)

Been so busy with attachment and how I wish there's 25hours per day
I want more time !!!
Everyday 7am+ leave home, 7pm+ reach home
Don't even have time to catch up with friends

I've been spending quite alot with my college during lunch =\

My Sinful lunch on Wed
Today went to Sushi Tei at Taka
First time trying and I couldn't really afford carrying on for 8 weeks
8 weeks of intense lunch spendings
So, I get the cheapest thing that can made me full
and to my surprise, it taste quite nice

Well, at least the lunch was not wasted
Saw a girl working there, kinda sweet looking but clumpy
I think she's new to the work =P

How I wish I was 1 of the 10 ppl who became millionair yesterday (Thursday)
Oh well, dream also no use
Money comes from hard work
And I'm furious at myself of not able to earn good money
I wanna work hard because there's like so many things I wanna buy
Not as in anyhow buy things
But, upon taking a walk in a supermarket, shopping center
There's shit loads of stuff that I can really make good use of
But, right now, I can't get anything I want just like that
My wallet is not a printer . . . =\

Today's lunch time went to The Ship Restaurant
At the building right behind Lido
It's Shaw Shopping Center
Lunch was held there because 1 of our college who will be resigning
And moving to Australia for business purposes

A 7-10years old restaurant
Many ppl go there to eat their Fish Soup
They served it in an Unique way
They seperate the deep fried fish and the soup
And it's quite nice, that's what my college said
I would recommend ppl to go eat during lunch as the lunch sets are still affordable
If just order Ala Carte, it's quite exp
I ordered a lunch set which is only $9.90
They first served a soup that comes together with a bun
The soup is very nice 4.5/5 (Minestrone Mixed with Tomato Soup)
Then main course comes after that

Pork Chop with fries
The portion is still acceptable and I rate the taste 3.5/5
After main course, still got tea/coffee that comes together with Appetiser
The appetiser was a fried banana with dunno what cream
Not too bad
Afterall, everything only cost $9.90++

Anyway, I'm resigning from Pastamania due to time factor
And I'm not gonna stop with my Cooking passion
Hopfully can get some hands-on practical at home during my weekends
Can learn everything from my mom =D





Today was yet another interesting event
It's known as [E]nvironment [E]ducation [A]dvisors Networking Session 2008
Where every Pri,Sec,Company or JC have their Advisors gathered for networking(meeting)
Mainly talked about Recycling Outreach Programme
And some sch shared their experience and proposals
Was rather interested because some of the stuff I've learnt can nv be seen locally
And through out the world, many ppl is already doing their part
To save Earth . . .
Event started around 8am, but I can be around by 9
Reached there about 8.45am
Then I was the camera man for the morning =D
Had a Tea-Break at around 10.45am
Then everything ended around 12noon

After a week of working in NEA a.k.a National Environment Agency
I'm actually starting to love it more
Even it's out of my studies scope
But these will be good exposure to me
The ppl there are very nice, easy-going, always have a sense of humor and more

1st day was so called honeymoon for me
Because my lappy was not assigned to me yet
Also needed to wait for their IT team to give me an e-mail acc to be used within the department
So spent whole day reading their annual report and slacking away
At least I get to meet most of the ppl in the 3PPD department

2nd day, my first task was to spot missing URLs/informations/Hyperlinks . .
On the EC portal and note them down
Still abit relaxing

3rd day, the fun part begans
Was asked to edit a powerpoint slide that will be needed on Friday
Because Friday will be 'Appreciation Lo Hei Lunch' Event
For most of the Pri,Sec,JC and coorperate companies advisors

4th day, in the morning
I had to make calls to most of the recipients to reconfirm their attendance
And to let them know that they are receiving a certificate of appreciation
Some of them asked me where can they park their car because our building . . .
Carpark only allows staff vehicles >.<
Some asked what time, when we already mailed them all the informations >.<
And it's not easy calling sch as I have to go through many general office to . . .
Get to that person
Some sch also need to ask so much than can get me through to their Principal
Rest of the day was working on the ppt again
Adding music and coordinations of the whole ppt

5th day(Today) was the BIG day because it's the long waited event they planned
'Appreciation Lo Hei Lunch' Event
Morning 9am, I went to help out setting the stuff
The event is held at our Top Floor(25th), I think is called as dunno what HALL

Around 1pm
It's time for us to join in for lunch
We ordered extra Yu Sheng and had 3 plates left
So, it's our turn !!! =D

Whole event ended around 2pm+
And our Deputy Director gathered us for immediate feedback on this whole event
We have some minor errors but overall was good =D
At least everyone's hardwork is not wasted
At about 3.20pm

Today was my first day of attachment
Hmm, today was kinda boring
Because some of the people incharge of some particular section wasn't around
So, I got a lappy to work on, but no network set up yet
Whole day I was slacking and reading their annual report
Was so glad that I had the whole work desk to myself . .
But not for long, 2 more people from Nee Agnn Poly will be coming at 25 Feb
Will be so squeezy >.<
Also got the chance to meet most of the people in the department
What I like the most is their Inn Cubator
What I hate the most, is to get into the life and stopping at MOST of the floors

Been so busy lately
Sat played soccer with the guys in the rain
Sun was tommy&qy son's first month old
Mon went shopping with jj,wen,yang,sean,suling & victora
Then met up with the rest at Chinatown for shopping!
Yesterday work was tiring
After that went to hunt my bag couldn't find it
In the end, bought my new bao bei IP Touch
Just simply love the way it is
Was hoping to have more GB than 8
Anyway,I blogging on it ... Just kinda slow typing
Today stayed home for dinner
And tomorrow is Chinese New Year!
